     29 Dec 1995 (Reuter) - Indonesia said it regretted
France's fifth nuclear test at Mururoa Atoll in the South
Pacific. The foreign ministry said in a statement that the
test on Wednesday demonstrated a total disregard towards a
decision reached at the 1995 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty
Review and Extension Conference.

     29 Dec 1995 (Reuter) - The Philippines urged France to
halt its nuclear testing programme in the South Pacific. "The
Philippines continues to hope that even at this late stage,
France will reverse her direction," a statement from Foreign
Affairs department said.
