The outage was necessary to repair an overheated section of the low voltage bus to the main generator step-up transformer. Other major activities completed during the outage included: repairing a leak on a reactor coolant system instrument line fitting; replacing the "A" main feedwater pump rotating element; repairs to three emergency feedwater system valves; and main steam isolation valve solenoid control valve adjustment. The plant synchronized to the electrical grid at about 9:15 a.m. on November 24, and should achieve 100 percent power on November 25. Regional Action: For information only. Contact: R.
