The announcement follows the resignation of Michael Sellman who has accepted the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer at Wisconsin Electric Power Company. Mr. Meisner will continue the current duties of President under the provisions of a contract for management services between Maine Yankee and Entergy Nuclear Inc. Mr. Meisner is Maine Yankee's chief liaison with the NRC, a position he has held at other Entergy nuclear facilities. Mr. Lobbia has been with the company for 34 years. DTE Energy President, Anthony F. Earley, Jr., will succeed Mr. Lobbia as Chairman and CEO of both companies, while remaining President.
