This notice was issued to all medical licensees to alert them to an incident involving the collapse of a nuclear medicine camera manufactured by Park Medical Systems of Quebec, Canada. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a Safety Notice concerning a possible defect that could cause structural failure resulting in serious injuries to patients. The device is a detector used to take images and contains no radioactive material.
