Subject: TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY AND BROWNS FERRY ORGANIZATION CHANGES

Discussion:

On September 11, 1998, John Scalice, TVA Chief Nuclear Officer and       
Executive Vice President announce the following promotions organizational
changes at the corporate offices and Browns Ferry:                       
                                                                         
P. Reynolds, promoted from General Manager Human Resources to Vice       
President of Nuclear Support.                                            
                                                                         
K. Singer, Plant Manager Browns Ferry will serve as Interim Site Vice    
President, Browns Ferry as Chris Crane, Site Vice President, has         
announced that he is leaving TVA to be come Vice President, Nuclear Power
Generation, at Commonwealth Edison.                                      
                                                                         
R. Jones, Assistant Plant Manager, Browns Ferry will serve as Interim    
Plant Manager, Browns Ferry.                                             
                                                                         
K. Singer and R. Jones will assume their new duties September 25, 1998.

Subject: Reassignment of Steve Perry, Vice President of BWRs             

Discussion:

ComEd has announced that Steve Perry, the current boiling water reactor  
Vice President for Dresden, LaSalle, and Quad Cities will be assuming the
position of Vice President for Operations and Training Services. His new 
position has responsibility for all the ComEd stations including         
activities at pressurized water reactors Byron and Braidwood and the     
retired station at Zion. The boiling water reactor Vice President        
position will be filled by Christopher M. Crane on October 5, 1998. Mr.  
Crane is currently the Site Vice President at the Brown's Ferry Nuclear  
Plant.
