Morris Brown has been named General Manager, Lockheed Martin Utility Services (LMUS), Inc., at the Portsmouth plant. His appointment will be effective Monday, March 30, 1998. He reports to Gregory H. Baker, President, LMUS. Mr. Brown replaces Dale Allen who transferred to another company within the Lockheed Martin Corporation in October 1997. Mr. Brown graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and has extensive nuclear experience including management responsibilities at Carolina Power and Light (CPL) Co. nuclear plants. Mr. Brown was the Engineering manager at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion plant from February 1996 through May 1997 where he directed all plant engineering activities including design, systems, and nuclear safety.
