Subject: New General Manager of Plant Operations at River Bend Named     

Discussion:

On April 6, Entergy Operations named Mr. Dwight C. Mims as the new       
General Manager of Plant Operations at the River Bend Station.  Mr. Mims,
who is currently the Director of Nuclear Safety at Arkansas Nuclear One, 
is replacing Mr. Joel Dimmette, who accepted a position at Commonwealth  
Edison's Quad Cities facility.  The official date for this management    
change has not yet been determined.
