Subject: TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY MANAGEMENT CHANGE                    

Discussion:

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Chairman Craven Crowell announced on    
October 24, 1997, that O. J. (Ike) Zeringue has been named TVA's Chief   
Nuclear Officer and Executive Vice President.  The appointment is        
effective November 1, 1997.  Zeringue has served as TVA's Senior Vice    
President of Nuclear Operations since 1993.                              
                                                                         
Zeringue succeeds Oliver D. Kingsley, Jr., who was named President and   
Chief Nuclear Officer of Commonwealth Edison Company's Nuclear Generation
Group.

Subject: CHANGE IN PLANT MANAGEMENT                                      

Discussion:

It was announced that Mr. Jim Morgan, Portsmouth Enrichment Plant        
Manager, will replace Dale Allen as General Manager on an acting basis,  
effective October 27, 1997. Mr. Morgan has been an employee at the plant 
since 1972 and has held several management positions during that time.
