Mr. Wyatt's official title is Assistant Plant Manager and he will act as Plant Manager in certain instances when the Interim Plant Manager is offsite. The Interim Plant Manager at Clinton Power Station is Mr. Wayne Romberg. It is planned that Mr. Romberg will be in this position until a new Plant Manager is named. Robert J. Farling, Centerior's Chairman, President, and CEO, along with Murray R. Edelman, Executive Vice President, will be retiring January 31, 1998. This announcement came as Centerior and Ohio Edison closed their merger Friday, producing First Energy Corporation. The combined company will be headed by Willard R. Holland, formerly Ohio Edison's President, Chairman, and CEO. First Energy's resources include the Davis-Besse and Perry nuclear facilities.
