Hodge NEW ISSUE. The vendor reports that energy redistribution factors used in large-break loss of coolant accident analyses do not directly reflect the effects of moderator voiding. Specifically, the factors are underestimated by 0.5-1.5 percent, corresponding to a 20-60 F increase in peak clad temperature. The following units are affected: Palo Verde 1, 2, 3; San Onofre 2, 3; Waterford 3; Arkansas 2; Calvert Cliffs 1, 2; and St. Lucie 2. _ HEADQUARTERS MORNING REPORT PAGE 2 SEPTEMBER 8, 1997 Licensee/Facility: Notification: Part 21 Database MR Number: H-97-0109 Westinghouse Date: 09/08/97 Subject: Part 21 - Type HMPC Series 'C' molded-case circuit breakers have as-found trip setpoints outside the specified calibration range Discussion: VENDOR: Westinghouse PT21 FILE NO: 97-57-0 DATE OF DOCUMENT: 08/20/97 ACCESSION NUMBER: SOURCE DOCUMENT: EN 32788 REVIEWER: PECB, J. The vendor reports that type HMPC Series 'C' molded-case circuit breakers have as-found trip setpoints outside the specified calibration range and recommends that utilities verify the setpoints of breakers used in safety- related applications before installing them. _ HEADQUARTERS MORNING REPORT PAGE 3 SEPTEMBER 8, 1997 Licensee/Facility: Notification: Part 21 Database MR Number: H-97-0110 Sargent & Lundy Date: 09/08/97 Subject: Part 21 - Missing needed contacts for isolating control essential equipment from the main control room and ...... Discussion: VENDOR: Sargent & Lundy PT21 FILE NO: 97-58-0 DATE OF DOCUMENT: 08/25/97 ACCESSION NUMBER: SOURCE DOCUMENT: EN 32815 REVIEWER: PECB, J. Carter NEW ISSUE. The Clinton licensee reports missing needed contacts for isolating control of essential equipment from the main control room and activating it from the remote shutdown panel in the postulated event of a fire in the main control room. This issue potentially affects all circuits routed through the remote shutdown panel. The licensee identified this condition for Division 1 emergency diesel generator feed circuit breaker 252-DG1KA and the Division 1 essential switchgear heat removal system fan damper. _ HEADQUARTERS MORNING REPORT PAGE 4 SEPTEMBER 8, 1997 Licensee/Facility: Notification: Part 21 Database MR Number: H-97-0111 Westinghouse Date: 09/08/97 Subject: Part 21 - Misaligned arc chute in Model 50DHP350 4160-volt circuit breakers Discussion: VENDOR: Westinghouse PT21 FILE NO: 97-59-0 DATE OF DOCUMENT: 08/29/97 ACCESSION NUMBER: SOURCE DOCUMENT: EN 32840 REVIEWER: PECB, C. Petrone NEW ISSUE. The Clinton licensee reports a misaligned arc chute, part number 567F417G02, in Model 50DHP350 4160-volt circuit breakers. Due to the inadequate clearance during installation, excessive force would be exerted on the line pole unit to attach the arc chute to its front support. The licensee had five potentially affected arc chutes and is not aware of other facilities that may be affected. _
