Subject: RECOVERY OF STOLEN MOISTURE/DENSITY GAUGE

Discussion:

JACA and Sierra Testing Labs in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, reported a   
moisture/density gauge stolen from a vehicle on December 31, 1996.

On January 2, 1997, the licensee advised that the gauge was recovered on 
December 31, 1996.  The gauge was intact and inside its case.  The       
licensee does not believe that there were any exposures as a result of   
this incident.                                                           

Regional Action:

Region II will followup during an inspection. The Commonwealth of Puerto 
Rico will be informed.
