Subject: BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT MANAGEMENT CHANGES                   

Discussion:

Effective May 13, 1996, J. E. Maddox, who is in the position of          
Maintenance/Modifications Manager, will be transferring to Watts Bar     
Nuclear Plant as the Engineering and Materials Manager.  C. M. Crane, who
is the Assistant Plant Manager, will assume the duties of Acting         
Maintenance/Modifications Manager and will continue in this position     
until a permanent replacement has been selected.  The Plant Operations   
Manager, R. G. Jones, will report directly to Eugene Preston, Plant      
Manager, effective May 13, 1996.
