MR Number: 3-96-0028 Big Rock Point 1 Date: 03/01/96 Charlevoix,Michigan RI PC Dockets: 50-155 BWR/GE-1 Subject: APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER Discussion: The licensee announced that effective March 1, 1996, Bob Addy, a reverse loanee from the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, will serve as Assistant Plant Manager until July 1, 1996. At that time, the licensee will assess the effectiveness of the organizational change. Mr. Addy will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the plant including operations, engineering, maintenance, health physics/chemistry, and planning and scheduling. Decommissioning, administration, human resources, training, public affairs and plant safety and licensing will continue to report directly to Pat Donnelly, the Plant Manager. In a related departmental realignment, the property and fire protection areas have been moved from engineering to the plant safety and licensing department.
