Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGES                                              

Discussion:

The licensee announced that, effective October 31, Mr. Michael Blevins,  
currently the plant manager, was assigned the responsibilities of the    
Vice President of Nuclear Operations.  Mr. Blevins assumed the           
responsibilities from Mr. Nicholas Paleologos who returned to INPO       
following a 1 year assignment to TU Electric as the Vice President of    
Nuclear Operations.  Mr. Blevins had previously been the assistant to the
Vice President of Nuclear Operations and was recently designated Plant   
Manager.

Subject: PG&E FORMATION OF ELECTRIC GENERATION AND TRANSMISSION UNITS    

Discussion:

On November 7, 1995, PG&E announced the formation of two new business    
units - Electric Generation and Electric Transmission.  The Electric     
Generation Business Unit will operate all the generating plants (nuclear 
and nonnuclear) and the Electric Transmission Business Unit will operate 
its high-voltage transmission system.  James Shiffer, who previously had 
a long-term association with the operation of Diablo Canyon, will head   
the PG&E Electric Generation Business Unit.  Greg Rueger, Senior Vice    
President and General Manager of Nuclear Power Generation, will report to
James Shiffer.  These new business units will take effect on November 15,
1995.
