Discussion:

Bert Simpson, Senior Vice President - Nuclear Engineering, announced he  
is appointing Mark E. McGough as Director - Plant Engineering and        
Projects, effective September 11. Formerly, Mr. McGough was with PRC     
Engineering Systems, Inc., where he was director of Western Operations.  
He is also chair of the Executive Forum series on Utility O&M Cost       
Reduction Strategies.                                                    
                                                                         
His areas of responsibility for Salem and Hope Creek will include nuclear
engineering projects (implementation of modifications), plant engineering
(nuclear engineering design support of daily plant activities), and      
procurement engineering.
