Discussion:

On October 22, 1994, the licensee declared the Unit 2 2B RHR system      
inoperable and suspended core onload because the 2A RHR system was       
already out for a scheduled overhaul. Engineering's evaluation of eddy   
current testing of the 2B RHR heat exchanger inlet nozzle cracking       
concluded that the nozzle was inoperable. The inlet nozzle was repaired  
and declared operable on October 24, 1994. Core alterations were         
subsequently resumed.                                                    

Regional Action:

The resident inspector followed the event.
