Discussion:

The licensee has announced an organization change which is effective this
week.  The Manager of Technical Services, Howard Bergendahl, will be the 
Acting Manager of Operations Support, replacing Hank Butterworth, who is 
in SRO training until December.                                          
                                                                         
The chemical operations division has been moved from technical services  
to report to the Unit 1 operations manager.  The divisions of health     
physics, chemistry, industrial health and safety, metrology and          
radiological laboratory, and effluent and waste management have all been 
moved from technical services to report to Gary Parkey, General Manager, 
Generation Support.  In addition, the maintenance support division is    
being moved from generation support to be integrated into the line       
maintenance organization.                                                
                                                                         
In an unrelated change, the nuclear assurance and the nuclear licensing  
departments have been combined into one organization under Lawrence      
Martin.  Joe Sheppard, the previous general manager of nuclear licensing 
has been reassigned as an assistant to the group vice president.
