Discussion:

Effective September 5, 1994, James Cross, Vice President and Chief       
Nuclear Officer resigned his position at Portland General Electric (PGE),
which operates the Trojan Nuclear Plant.  Also on that date, Stephen     
Quennoz was designated Acting Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer,  
in addition to his position of Plant General Manager.  Mr. Quennoz's     
appointment fulfills current Trojan Technical Specification              
administrative requirements.                                             
                                                                         
In his new position, Mr. Quennoz reports to Mr. Richard E. Dyer,         
currently a Vice President over PGE Fossil Fuel units.  Mr. Dyer reports 
to Mr. Ken Harrison, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer   
for Portland General Electric.  The licensee stated that it plans to     
develop a nuclear advisory panel, composed of some non-PGE individuals,  
to advise Mr. Dyer as appropriate.
