Discussion:

The Houston Lighting & Power Company has announced a planned             
reorganization which will combine the Nuclear Licensing Department and   
the Nuclear Assurance Department into one department.  Details of the    
reorganization are being developed by a review group.  Both organizations
are scheduled to report to one manager on September 19, 1994, with full  
implementation by the end of 1994. Some personnel may be displaced.
