Discussion:

On May 12, 1994, an Enforcement Conference will be held in the Region III
Office with Commonwealth Edison to discuss apparent violations identified
during an inspection of Dresden Unit 1, a facility undergoing            
decommissioning. The inspection in January and February 1994 identified  
that heating was not provided to the containment and that pipes          
associated with the spent fuel storage pool could have been challenged by
freezing temperatures. Six hundred and sixty fuel assemblies were stored 
in the pool at that time.
